Alex Cardno

Alex Cardno has been working in financial journalism for over 10 years. Alex started out as an intern at the Financial Times in 2009 and then became a senior reporter at Credit Today in 2010. Alex was promoted to deputy editor in 2012 and then to editor in 2013. Alex left Credit Today in 2014 to join HFM Week as their senior reporter for US news. Alex was promoted to associate editor at MandateWire in 2016 and is currently the managing editor at Financial Times.

Alex Cardno has an NCTJ accreditation from News Associates, Wimbledon and a BA (hons) from The University of Birmingham.
