Henrik Braconier has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of economics. Henrik began their career at Konjunkturinstitutet in 2001, where they served as the Head of Division until 2004. Following this, they worked at Regeringskansliet, Finansdepartementet as the Director of Forecasting from 2004 to 2009. In 2009, they joined the OECD as a Senior Economist, where they remained until 2014. In 2014, they joined Finansinspektionen as the Chief Economist. Additionally, Braconier served as the Chairman of Knut Wicksells centrum för finansvetenskap from 2016 to 2021.
Henrik Braconier completed their education from 1990 to 1998 at Lund University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Economics.
