Stefan Sundman

Stefan Sundman has over two decades of work experience in the IT industry. Stefan started their career at Sun Microsystems as a System Specialist and worked there for six years. Stefan then joined Swedbank, where they held various roles such as System Engineer, Production Manager, and Resource Broker. After that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at IOCOR AB for two years. Stefan returned to Swedbank as the Head of Resource and Competence Management before becoming the Head of Java Development Platform. In 2016, they joined Finansinspektionen as the Deputy IT Manager, leading change and modernization initiatives. Stefan later became the Executive Director IT/CIO, responsible for IT infrastructure, application, architecture, security management, and international coordination. Currently, they hold the position of Deputy Executive Director IT at Finansinspektionen.

Stefan Sundman attended Boston University from 2017 to 2018, where they pursued a field of study in Digital Leadership. Prior to this, they studied Data och systemvetenskap at Stockholm University, although the specific years of attendance are unknown. Earlier in their education, Stefan earned a BEng degree in Computer Science & Networks from CIIIL, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Stefan also attended Fredrika Bremergymnasiet from 1991 to 1994, although the degree and field of study are unspecified.
