Lenard Koomen

Lenard Koomen is an Applied Data Analytics Engineer at Finaps since March 2021, with a diverse background in data analysis and engineering. Prior to this role, Lenard served as a Data Analyst at BMO Offshore from September 2015 to March 2021, where responsibilities included data-analysis, signal processing, data engineering, machine learning, business intelligence, and back-end development. Lenard began at BMO as an intern, developing an algorithm that enhanced on-board physical measurement systems and working on various data acquisition projects. Earlier, Lenard was the Chief Driving Strategy for the Eco-Runner Team Delft, contributing to a second-place finish in the Shell Eco-Marathon by simulating vehicle dynamics and creating fuel-efficient driving strategies. Lenard holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology, completed between 2010 and 2020.
