Paul Imel

Paul Imel is a Principal Software Engineer at Finastra, where significant achievements include transitioning a multimillion-dollar, 40-year-old application to the cloud in under two years. Paul has extensive experience as a Software Architect at Selectron Technologies, Inc., leading the design and deployment of multi-tenant systems and implementing CI/CD infrastructure, which drastically reduced software deployment times. Previous roles include Enterprise Architect and Software Engineering Manager at Finastra and D+H, where Paul was pivotal in developing roadmaps for major applications and modernizing legacy systems using microservices and Azure. With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Portland, Paul also has a solid foundation in software engineering, having started as an intern and progressing through various technical roles.
