James Barlow

James Barlow has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. James began their career at ACI Worldwide, where they served as a Support Analyst & Technical Consultant, providing support and consultancy for card transaction processing systems. James then joined NCR Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they developed the core architecture of a banking message processing system and performed research on new technologies. At NCR, James also worked as a Technical Consultant, delivering solutions based on software customizations using the Java stack. Currently, they are working at FINBOURNE Technology as a Devops/SRE/Software Engineer, contributing to the development and automation of a cloud-based investment management SaaS platform using Go and Kubernetes.

James Barlow attended Glyn Technology School from 2000 to 2007. During their time there, they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. From 2007 to 2010, they enrolled at the University of Portsmouth, where they completed a degree in Computer Network Management and Design. Their coursework included programming and scripting (both procedural and object-oriented), networking, as well as working with Linux and Windows operating systems.
