Simon Ferguson

Simon Ferguson has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Simon is currently employed at FINBOURNE Technology as the Chief Operating Officer and is also responsible for handling business operations. Prior to this, they worked at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as a Senior Project Manager.

Before joining LSEG, Simon held the position of Regulatory Change Programme Manager - Director at NatWest, where they worked from 2015 to 2017. Simon also worked at Royal Bank of Scotland Business in various roles, including Regulatory Change Project Manager, Balance Sheet Control Specialist, P&L and Balance Sheet Manager, Balance Sheet Manager, and P&L Manager.

Simon began their career at Horwath Clark Whitehill LLP as a Trainee Chartered Accountant from 2002 to 2005.

Simon has a strong background in regulatory change management, project management, and financial analysis.

Simon Ferguson attended Priory School Shrewsbury from 1991 to 1996, however, no degree or specific field of study is mentioned for this period. After completing their secondary education, Simon enrolled at Shrewsbury Sixth Form College, where they studied Business Studies, Geography, and Biology, earning their A-Levels from 1996 to 1998. Subsequently, they pursued higher education at The University of Sheffield from 1998 to 2001, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Studies. In terms of additional certifications, Simon obtained the Prince 2 - Foundation Certificate in Project Management in March 2017 from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Additionally, they became a Chartered Accountant through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in September 2005.
