Mary Mpirirwe

Mary Mpirirwe has a diverse work experience in the banking sector. Mary started their career at Equity Bank Uganda Ltd as a Loans Administrator, responsible for handling loan applications, verifying securities, and managing loan disbursements. Mary then joined Housing Finance Bank, where they held various roles, including Senior Operational Risk Officer, Principal Market and Credit Risk Officer, and Manager of Market and Credit Risk. In these roles, they played a key role in assessing and managing risk within the bank. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Risk Management at FINCA Uganda Limited (MDI), where they continue to utilize their expertise in risk management.

Mary Mpirirwe pursued their Bachelor's degree in International Business at Makerere University from 2004 to 2008. Subsequently, they enrolled in Uganda Management Institute from 2017 to 2020, where they completed a Masters in Management Studies with a specialization in Financial Management.
