Steve Moran

Steve Moran has over 28 years of work experience in facilities management and operations. Steve has held various roles at different companies, showcasing their expertise in overseeing facility operations, construction projects, and infrastructure initiatives. At Finch Therapeutics Group, they worked as a Facilities Senior Manager, where they established and executed the overall vision for facilities operations, managed site services and capital projects, and ensured compliance with regulatory guidelines. Steve also played a crucial role in coordinating the construction of a new GMP facility. At Sanofi Genzyme, Steve served as the Director of Building and Occupant Services, where they led complex construction and operational improvement initiatives to scale facilities and campus environment with company growth. Steve also worked as a Facilities Senior Operations Manager, overseeing the operation of all seven Cambridge sites, and started their career at the company as an Operations Manager, where they were responsible for technician roles.

Steve Moran holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Project Management from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Steve also has an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Building Construction from the same institution. In addition to their academic qualifications, Steve has obtained several certifications, including Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) from the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) in 2011, Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM) from the Association for Facilities Engineering in 2010, and Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional from the U.S. Green Building Council in 2009. Steve has also achieved various professional licenses, including Journeyman Plumber, Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter, Master Pipefitter, Oil Burner Technician, Refrigerant Reclaiming Technician, Refrigeration Technician, and Wastewater Operator. The issuing authorities for these licenses include the Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters, the Massachusetts Office of Public Safety and Inspection (OPSI), and the Massachusetts Boiler & Pressure Vessel (BPV) Program Licensing, as well as the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC).
