Melanie Sy

Melanie Sy has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Melanie began their career in PR-Agenturen/Verlag as a Beratung, Konzeption, Text. In 2010, they joined Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband as a Referentin Kommunikation Klimaprojekt, where they worked on PR-Beraterin Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit Verbraucherallianz. From 2011 to 2017, Melanie Sy worked at Bilfinger SE - Subgroup Power in two roles: Beraterin Strategie/Change/Kommunikation and Referentin CEO Office & Kommunikation. In their second role, they were responsible for strategic analysis, production of image and product films, and the redesign of the employee magazine, intranet, and web presence. In 2017, they moved to GENOPACE GmbH as Leitung Organisationsmanagement. In 2020, they became Lead Business Development - Genossenschaftliche FinanzGruppe at Hypoport SE. Most recently, in 2023, Melanie Sy joined FinCompare GmbH as Head of People & Culture.

Melanie Sy obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Amerikanistik, Medien- und Politikwissenschaft from The Philipp University of Marburg between 2001 and 2006. Melanie also holds certifications from LinkedIn, including "Vom Manager zum Leader" obtained in June 2022, "Strategisches Denken und Handeln für Führungskräfte" obtained in May 2022, and "Systemische Organisationsentwickler:in" obtained from isb GmbH Systemische Professionalität.
