Lars Aurdal

Lars Aurdal is an experienced professional in the fields of image processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Cofounder and head of research at Findable since March 2021. Prior to this role, Lars worked as an independent consultant specializing in image processing from January 2019 to February 2021. Lars has held various positions including Senior Scientist at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt, Senior R&D Engineer at both Lumex AS and Cisco, and research roles at Norsk Regnesentral and Rikshospitalet University Hospital. Lars has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Associate Professor at both the University of Oslo and NTNU. Lars holds a Ph.D. in Image Processing from Télécom Paris and an engineering degree from NTNU, along with military communications training.
