Nick Burbrook

Nick Burbrook has a diverse work experience in software development and leadership roles. Nick is currently working as an Engineering Lead at Finder, where they lead a team of software engineers in the development, delivery, and maintenance of essential microservices. Their responsibilities include ensuring quality and timely delivery of the team's output, working with other teams, and driving strategic goals for technical improvement.

Before joining Finder, Nick worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Consunet Pty Ltd from November 2019 to January 2022. There, they specialized in backend development and DevSecOps, developing production-ready software primarily in Java.

Prior to their role at Consunet, Nick was a Senior Software Developer Team Lead at Optergy from January 2015 to October 2019. Nick led a team of developers in the development of automation and control systems software using Java, Postgresql, JSP, Bash scripting, and a custom Debian OS.

During this time, they performed various duties including computer set-up and repair, website design and implementation, iOS application development, troubleshooting, and technology education.
