Yves L'Heureux

Yves L’Heureux joined FinDev Canada in 2019 where he now heads the organization’s Risk Management team. In this role, Mr L’Heureux is responsible for the development of FinDev Canada’s discipline and practices as they relate to enterprise risk management, it's measuring and monitoring.

Prior to his arrival at FinDev Canada, Yves began his international lending career in 1996 at Export Development Canada (EDC), Canada’s export credit agency. Through Mr L’Heureux’s 23-year career at EDC, he has held leadership positions of growing responsibility in underwriting, business development, asset management, and credit authorization of financing transactions.

Yves originally began his career at the Toronto Dominion Bank in the early 1990s.

Mr. L’Heureux holds a B.Comm from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and an MBA from École des Hautes Études Commerciales in Montréal (HEC).
