IT Operations Senior Security Architect at FINEOS

Paul Deasy began their work experience in 1998 as a Support Analyst at Canada Life, where they provided first-line application support and administered end-user accounts for various environments. Paul then moved on to Credo Group in 1999, where they worked as a Support Executive, providing technical support for the installation and maintenance of the FONTIS e-banking suite and performing remote systems administration in global banking environments. In 2001, they continued their role as a Support Executive at Misys, which acquired Credo Group, and was involved in the restructuring of Misys companies. Starting in 2002, Paul joined FINEOS as a Senior Systems Administrator, where they played key roles in data center relocation projects, prioritized IT security measures, and made improvements to day-to-day operations. Paul subsequently served as the Technical Lead - IT Operations and presently holds the position of IT Operations Senior Security Architect at FINEOS.

Paul Deasy completed their education at several institutions. Paul began their academic journey in 1996 at Dundalk Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Certificate in Software Development. Paul then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems (SysInf) from Trinity College Dublin from 1999 to 2003. Following this, Paul went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Management of Information Systems from the same institution, completing their studies between 2000 and 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Paul has also obtained several certifications. Paul became an InsightVM Certified Administrator in July 2022, and achieved certifications in Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) Certified Administrator and Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator Private Access [ZCCA-PA] in September 2022. Furthermore, Paul obtained a certification in Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) Certified Administrator in April 2021. Although there is mention of a Certification in Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator Internet Access [ZCCA-IA], specific information about its completion month and year is not provided.
