Catherine Ahern

Catherine Ahern has been the Director of Facilities & Grounds at Finger Lakes Community College since November 2005. Prior to that, they spent 20 years in the consulting field as an engineer specializing in HVAC before moving up to group leader, project manager, department head, division head, and finally principal. The majority of their work was in the industrial and pharmaceutical sectors, but they also did significant work at Kodak, Xerox, and Corning. Catherine ended their consulting career working for pharmaceutical companies.

Catherine Ahern has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in 3/2 Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. Catherine also has a Master's of Science in Facility Management from Rochester Institute of Technology.

They are on a team with and Christine Palace - Neininger - Controller. Catherine Ahern reports to Adam W. Rathbun, VP, Administration & Finance.
