Valentin V. has a diverse range of work experience in the tech industry. Valentin co-founded Fingerprint in 2019, where they serve as the CTO. Prior to that, Valentin worked at Machinio.com as a Tech team lead from January 2016 to March 2019 and as a Lead Developer from November 2013 to December 2015. Valentin was also a Team Lead at Evrone from August 2013 to September 2014, leading the development for an insurance startup. Valentin worked as a Senior Software Developer at KupiKupon Global from July 2012 to August 2013, where they worked on critical mailing and marketing systems, and published several open-source libraries. Before that, they were a Senior Software Developer at Kaledin and Partners from August 2008 to June 2012, where they worked on multiple projects for company customers using .NET and Rails. Valentin started their career as a Software Developer at Boston SoftDesign Inc. from May 2006 to August 2008, primarily working with ASP.NET and Oracle for Canadian companies.

Valentin V. attended Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University (PSLU) from 1999 to 2003. During this time, they obtained a diploma in Spanish Language and Literature. In 2006, Valentin enrolled at North-Caucasus State Technical University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. Valentin completed their studies at this institution in 2010.
