Jaimie A. Albanese

Jaimie A. Albanese is a dedicated library professional with diverse experience in various roles within the library sector. Currently serving as a Teen Librarian at Finkelstein Memorial Library since April 2023, Jaimie previously excelled as a Technology Librarian at Oceanside Library from January 2019 to March 2023, where responsibilities included adult reference services and computer classes. Jaimie's early career involved roles such as Graduate Assistant at St. John's University, Librarian Trainee at Hempstead Public Library, and a Student Intern with the American Library Association. With a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from St. John's University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from SUNY New Paltz, Jaimie's background also includes experience as a Volunteer Archivist and working in special education settings, reflecting a commitment to supporting diverse community needs.
