Ville Heikkinen

Ville Heikkinen is a seasoned venture capital professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in early-stage investments, particularly in deep tech and hard tech sectors across the Nordic and Baltic regions. As a co-founder and partner at Butterfly Ventures since April 2014, Ville has focused on funding innovative companies. Additional roles include serving as an advisor at HT Growth Partners, owner of Pine Capital with a focus on tech investments, and founder of Smartius Ltd, which specializes in tech law. Ville has also contributed to the Finland Chamber of Commerce in strategy and corporate governance training and established Black Bear Inn to support Nordic startups in Silicon Valley. With a strong educational background, including degrees from the University of Oulu and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Ville has consistently impacted the venture capital landscape in Finland.
