Aaron Oakes

Aaron Oakes is a seasoned professional in the food science and coaching industries, currently serving as a Senior Sensory Scientist at Finlays since January 2021 and as the Owner of Food and Fitness Solutions, LLC, since October 2015. Oakes also holds a position as an Associate Coach at Wenzel Coaching, providing scientific training and nutritional methodologies to athletes. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Scientist and Scientist at Glasgow Consulting Group and product development work at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and Unilever. Oakes started in the field as a Biological Science Technician at the USDA ARS Peanut Market Quality and Handling Research Unit and was a Graduate Research/Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Food Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
