Umair Mahmood

Umair Mahmood has worked in the software quality assurance field since 2008. Umair's career began at LN Technologies as a Software QA Engineer, where they were responsible for preparing test strategy manuals, quality manuals, writing test cases, bug reports, and reviewing use case and business rules documents. Umair was also responsible for deploying and testing web applications, web services, and Windows services, as well as downloading and restoring databases on a weekly basis. In 2009, they moved to Creative Chaos as a Software QA Engineer, where they worked on the face2face app. In 2011, they joined Proximate Global Inc. as a Senior Software QA Engineer. Umair then moved to Nintex in 2013, where they held the roles of Senior Software Test Analyst and Software Test Analyst. In 2019, they joined Adform as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, and in 2022 they moved to Finlex GmbH as a Senior Software QA Engineer.

Umair Mahmood has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Karachi University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2008. Prior to this, they obtained their Inter in Pre Engineering from Adamjee Govt Science College from 2001 to 2003. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services in May 2020, ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Test Automation from ICAgile in May 2017, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2020, and IELTS from British Council/ IELTS Australia.
