Päivi Rautanen

Päivi Rautanen has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Päivi started their career in 1983 at Travel agency Matkarengas, where they worked in sales and ticketing. Päivi then joined Finnair in 1985, initially working at the fares information desk and later becoming an instructor. In 1994, they joined Amadeus Finland as a product manager, focusing on ticketing and fare quote areas. Päivi returned to Finnair in 2000 and held various roles, including product manager and IT product owner and team leader in the digital services/commercial applications department. Alongside their roles at Finnair, Päivi was also a teacher at HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they worked at TeliaSonera as a product manager and sales manager for their eLearning solutions. Currently, Päivi is the applications lead for order management at Finnair.

Päivi Rautanen started their education at Helsinki Business College Oy, where they graduated as a Commercial college graduate in marketing. Päivi then attended the University of Helsinki in 2004 for Basic Adult Education studies. Following that, they joined Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management. Päivi continued their studies at Haaga-Helia, completing a Master's degree in Hospitality Management with a specialization in Tourism. Lastly, they attended Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences again in 2012-2013, although it is not specified what degree or field of study they pursued during that period.
