Grant Anderson has a diverse work experience. Grant started their career as a Band and Orchestra Teacher at Rapid Run Middle School in 2004. Grant then worked at Oak Hills High School in various roles, including Assistant Principal, Music Department Chair, and Auditorium Manager. During their time at Oak Hills High School, they were involved in leadership activities such as leading test logistics, conducting IEP meetings, and collaborating on building and district-level curriculum and assessment. Grant also managed the renovation of the OHHS Ion Holt Auditorium. Grant Anderson joined Oak Hills Local School District in 2016, where they served as a House Principal, overseeing academic departments and leading professional learning experiences. Most recently, they joined Finneytown Local School District as the Director of Business Operations. Additionally, they worked as a Professional DJ and Emcee at Horizon Entertainment DJs from 2014 onward. Grant has experience in educational leadership, technology integration, curriculum design, event planning, and project management.
Grant Anderson attended Aurora High School from 1996 to 2000. After high school, they went to the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. Grant then pursued their Master's degree in Music Education at Miami University from 2007 to 2010. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they attended Miami University again and earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership with a Principal Certificate.
