Maria Hällfors

Maria Hällfors is a Senior Research Scientist at the Finnish Environment Institute (Syke) since May 2022. Previously, Maria served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Helsinki from March 2016 to May 2022. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Plant Ecology and an MSc in Plant Ecology, both from the University of Helsinki, achieved in 2016 and 2010, respectively. Additionally, Maria obtained a BSc in Biology, with a focus on Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, also from the University of Helsinki, and participated in coursework at Stellenbosch University in 2008.
