Niko Hakala

Niko Hakala is a Credit Risk Analyst at Finnvera Oyj, having held this position since November 2021. Prior to this role, Niko worked at EY from December 2018 to November 2021, advancing from Audit Trainee to Audit Associate and finally to Senior Associate. Niko also gained valuable experience as a Research Intern at the University of Eastern Finland in 2018, where the focus was on gathering and processing Finnish M&A data for a Master's Thesis. Niko's early career at Finnvera Oyj included positions as a Financial Statement Analyst Trainee and Summer Trainee, as well as experience as a Claims Advisor at If Insurance from May 2015 to January 2017. Niko holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Eastern Finland, obtained in 2020.
