Maanoj Shah

Maanoj Shah has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Maanoj started their career as the Group Financial Controller for Candy Group of companies, where they implemented accounting structures, developed cash flow management systems, and ensured regulatory compliance. Maanoj then ventured into the software industry as the Business Head for Audit Software at Sama Audit Systems & Softwares P. Ltd., where they spearheaded the software division and brought in international companies to India. Maanoj later founded their own management consulting boutique firm, Brisca Consulting, specializing in growth strategy and financial management. Maanoj then served as the CEO of Evolve, a chain of fitness clubs, where they successfully created a strong service-based business model and eventually sold the business. Maanoj also worked as the COO of plugHR, a subscription-based HR firm, and as the Chief Volunteer for GiftCHANGE.org, a community of social change makers. Currently, they hold the position of Director - Growth Strategy & Alliances at Finsmart Accounting, an outsourced bookkeeping and payroll management service company.

Maanoj Shah completed a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai between 1987 and 1992. Maanoj then pursued a professional certification in Accounting and Finance, earning their CA degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India between 1993 and 1996. In 2002, they further enhanced their skills by obtaining a certification in Certified Information Systems Audit from the Institute of Systems Audit & Control Association.
