Aleksey Kulakov

Aleksey Kulakov has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Starting in 2002, they worked as a System Administrator and Web Developer at SportMaster, where they managed network resources, provided technical support, and developed the company's website using DHTML and JavaScript.

In 2003, they transitioned to a role as a PHP/HTML Developer at Sport Studio. Aleksey worked on PHP and HTML development projects until 2007.

From 2007 to 2012, Aleksey served as a Senior Lecturer at the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' and completed their Ph.D. in Computer Science during this time.

In 2011, they joined Evogence as a Project Manager, responsible for project management, task planning, requirement analysis, team building, and direct communication with account managers. Aleksey remained in this role until 2012.

In 2012, Aleksey joined Samsung R&D Institute Ukraine (SRK) as a Project Leader and was later promoted to Lab Leader in 2013. At SRK, they led research and innovation development in the Artificial Intelligence/Computer Vision domain, focusing on visual understanding. Aleksey also contributed to the design and development of the Tizen OS Software Platform until 2022.

Most recently, in 2022, Aleksey became the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Fintech Farm. In this role, they were instrumental in the successful launch of Liobank, a new digital bank in Vietnam powered by Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB).

Throughout their career, Aleksey demonstrated their expertise in project management, software development, research, and innovation in the fields of computer science and financial technology.

Aleksey Kulakov has an extensive education history in the field of computer science. Aleksey began their academic journey at the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' in 2000 and graduated with a Master's degree in Computer Science in 2006. During this time, they focused on studying the software-hardware organization of GRID-systems based on virtual networks technology.

In 2004, Aleksey worked as a student assistant at Hochschule Merseburg, where they gained experience in model analysis of neural networks.

After completing their Master's degree, Aleksey pursued further education and obtained a PhD in Computer Science from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' between 2006 and 2010. Their doctoral research focused on the software-hardware organization of GRID-systems based on virtual networks technology.
