Baris Yalin Uzunlu

Baris Yalin Uzunlu is a researcher at Türkiye Sermaye Piyasaları Birliği (Turkish Capital Markets Association) since March 2022 and serves as an author for both Harvard Business Review Türkiye and FinTechTime, starting in April and May 2023, respectively. Additionally, Baris works as an editorial assistant for the Journal of Capital Markets Studies since January 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a senior consultant in financial services at PwC from August 2014 to August 2017, focusing on auditing financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and regulations set by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) and the Capital Markets Board (CMB). Earlier internships at VakıfBank and Turkish Investment provided foundational experience in capital markets and financial analysis. Baris holds a Master of Science in Economics/Finance from The University of Freiburg and a degree in Economics from Sabanci University, with additional studies at SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
