Antonio Diaz de Liaño

Antonio Diaz de Liaño has over 19 years of experience in the legal and compliance field. From 2020 to present, they have been the Managing Director Legal & Compliance at Fintonic, where they lead the Legal and Compliance area of the company, as well as directing the legal strategy of the Fintonic Group. Antonio also advises various business units on contracts, cyber security, IT, finance, and human resources. From 2010 to 2020, they were the Director of Legal Advice and Secretary of the Board of Directors at Aresbank. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they were an Attorney in the Civil and Commercial Area and Legal Assistance in the Procedural Area at GAECA Abogados. From 2006 to 2008, they were an Attorney in the Legal Department of Large Patrimonies and Non-Public Services Division at Landwell-PwC. Lastly, from 2001 to 2006, they were an Assistant in Investment Practices, Portfolio Management, Options, and Futures at the Spanish Confederation of Savings Banks.

Antonio Diaz de Liaño began their educational journey in 1997 when they enrolled in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid to pursue a degree in Derecho. Antonio graduated in 2002 and then went on to take the Oposición a la Abogacía del Estado, which they completed in 2006. In 2008, they attended the American University Washington College of Law to take a Summer Legal English Course. Most recently, in 2019, they completed an Especialización en Digitalización del Sector Legal at The Valley Digital Business School.
