Anthony Fonin

Anthony Fonin has a diverse work experience ranging from assistant roles to managerial positions. Anthony started their career as an Assistant at Majestic Marble and Granite in 2015. In 2017, they joined Sweet Bakery as a Retail Cashier and eventually became the General Manager, overseeing inventory, sales tracking, and employee schedules. From 2019 to 2020, Anthony worked as a Shift Leader at Caffè Nero, managing employees' work ethic and handling cash deposits. Starting in 2020, they interned at Senator Walter Timilty's Office, conducting research and analysis. In 2021, they joined Boston SoftDesign Inc. as a Data Analyst Intern, working with data miners and analysts to transform client data. Anthony then moved to Granite Telecommunications, where they served as a Financial Analyst and later as a Senior Financial Analyst. Anthony conducted market trend analysis, trained and assisted colleagues, and collaborated with the BI team to build a comprehensive quote history database. Currently, they work as a Financial Data Analyst at Finvi, starting in June 2022.

Anthony Fonin attended UMass Boston from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree. Anthony'smajors were Economics and Information Technology. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In April 2020, they completed the Data Science Orientation program offered by IBM. In the same month, they also completed the HarvardX - Data Science: R Basics course through edX, which is an online learning initiative by Harvard University. In May 2020, they obtained two more certifications from HarvardX - Data Science: Probability and Data Science: Visualization. Overall, Anthony Fonin has a combination of academic and online certifications in the field of economics, information technology, and data science.
