Daniel Cahill

Daniel Cahill has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Daniel started their career at Starbucks in 2014 as a Student Supervisor. In 2015, they joined Purdue University as a Residences Landscape Management Coordinator. From 2016 to 2018, they transitioned into a Residences Landscape Project Management Intern role within the same organization. In 2017, Daniel joined Ontario Systems as a Software Engineering Intern and later moved up to become a Software Engineer, Cloud in 2018. Daniel continued to grow within the company and became a Software Engineer II, Cloud in 2019. In 2021, they advanced to the position of Senior Software Engineer at Ontario Systems.

Recently, Daniel joined IronNet in 2021 as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, they served as a scrum master and technical product owner for the infrastructure team's projects. Daniel also developed an autoscaling EKS based platform in Terraform and implemented processes that enabled all customers to upgrade simultaneously without downtime. Daniel's latest position at IronNet is Senior Cloud Engineer, starting in January 2023.

Daniel Cahill obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Technology from Purdue University, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Daniel also earned a certification as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2019.
