Philippe Esseba

Philippe Esseba has a diverse work experience in the banking and financial industry. Philippe started their career in 2011 at American Express, where they held roles in front-line operations, fraud prevention, and compliance analysis. Philippe then joined Silicon Valley Bank as a Client Advisor and Quality Control specialist from 2016 to 2017. Following this, they worked as a Compliance Analyst in Testing at WebBank from 2017 to 2020.

In 2020, Philippe joined FinWise Bank and has held various positions since then. Philippe started as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) in Compliance Testing from October 2020 to May 2021. Philippe then served as the Director of Compliance Testing from May 2021 to April 2023. Currently, they are working as the Vice President (VP) in Compliance Testing, which started in April 2023. This progression demonstrates their growth and expertise in compliance testing with an emphasis on banking regulations and risk assessment.

Philippe Esseba completed an Executive Development Program at the Utah Bankers Association in 2023. In 2019, they attended the ABA Compliance School. Philippe earned a Master's degree in Management and Strategy from Western Governors University between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Southern Utah University, graduating in 2009.
