Derek Johnson

Derek Johnson has been working in the fire safety industry since 2008. Their career began as the Owner of Fire Safety Company from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, they then moved to 360 Services as the Fire Protection Manager. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at Koorsen Fire and Security as the Pre-engineered Sales. In 2018, they then moved to Johnson Controls as the Suppression Sales Rep II. In 2019, they worked at C-Innovation, LLC as the ROV pilot/tech. Currently, they are working at R Carter & Asdociates as the Fire Suppression and at FIRE & SAFETY COMMODITIES INC as the Training Manager.

Derek Johnson began their educational journey in 1995 when they attended Crawfordsville High School, where they studied General Studies. In 1999, they then joined the United States Marine and studied Aviation Electronics. After that, they attended Ivy Tech Community College-Lafayette from 2004 to 2007 and earned an Associate's degree in Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Refrigeration Maintenance Technology/Technician (HVACR).
