John Fein

John Fein is the Founder and Managing Partner at Firebrand Ventures, an investment firm dedicated to supporting early-stage startups through a vast network and operational expertise, a position held since July 2016. As a guest lecturer at both The University of Kansas School of Business and the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, John shares knowledge on entrepreneurship and venture capital. Previous experience includes advisory roles with the Kansas City Startup Foundation and Techweek, as well as serving as Managing Director for Techstars. Prior to their venture capital career, John held senior project management positions at OptumRx/UnitedHealth Group and Hunter Industries, and directed product management at cVideo. John Fein holds a B.A. in Psychology from Clark University.
