Michael Cooper

Michael Cooper is an experienced professional in the fields of fire service and law enforcement. Currently serving as a Fire Investigator on the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Arson Task Force, Michael applies expertise in investigating suspicious and fatal fires. As a member of Firefighter One, Michael specializes in apparatus and equipment sales, influenced by a background in managing a truck committee for a local fire department. Michael has also held a long-standing position with the Saddle River Police Department, progressing from a patrol officer to a detective, and has experience as a police dispatcher. With a commitment to the fire service, Michael has been an active firefighter with Mahwah Company Number 1 Fire and Rescue Auxiliary since the age of 14. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from New Jersey City University.
