Anastasios Noulas

Anastasios Noulas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in data science and academia. Anastasios started their career in 2012 as a Research Fellow at Telefónica and later worked as a Data Scientist at Foursquare. In 2014, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Cambridge before becoming a Scientific Consultant at PiinPoint and True Corporation in 2014 and 2015, respectively. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as an Assistant Professor at Lancaster University. Anastasios then joined New York University as a Moore-Sloan Data Science Fellow from 2017 to 2020. Anastasios also held the position of Assistant Professor & Faculty Fellow at NYU Center for Data Science from 2019 to 2020. Anastasios Noulas is currently the Head of Data Science at Firefly starting in 2020.

Anastasios Noulas pursued their education primarily in the field of Computer Science. Anastasios completed their Master's degree in Engineering in Computer Science from UCL between 2005 and 2009. Following this, they attended the University of Cambridge from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science.
