Janay Smith

Janay Smith is an emerging professional currently serving as an Emergency Operations Center Intern at Fireside Partners Inc. Since December 2023. Previous experience includes a Marketing Intern position at Sodexo, where Janay developed content and analyzed customer feedback, as well as roles as a Peer Academic Coach at Delaware State University, supporting students with academic advisement. Additionally, Janay completed externships at The Home Depot, gaining insights into retail finance and cost-saving strategies, and at PwC, focusing on nonprofit sector strategies and brand awareness. Janay also contributed as a Near-Peer Mentor at HBCU First, leading a mentoring program for first-year students. Janay is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations at Delaware State University, expected to graduate in 2024.
