Jake Leary

Jake Leary has extensive work experience in various roles. Jake is currently employed at Fire&Spark as an Account Manager since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Search Engine Optimization Analyst at the same company from May 2021 to November 2021. Before joining Fire&Spark, they worked at Book Ya Ya as an Associate Event Coordinator, where they coordinated author readings with local libraries and managed event workflow from January 2021 to May 2021.

Earlier in their career, Jake worked as a Freelance Writer at Screen Rant from May 2020 to October 2020. Jake also gained experience as an Editorial Intern at PCMag.com from June 2019 to August 2019. Before that, they interned at The Ithaca Times from August 2018 to December 2018.

Additionally, Jake has served as the Life & Culture Editor at The Ithacan from August 2017 to December 2017, and as the Assistant Life & Culture Editor from January 2017 to May 2017.

Jake Leary obtained their Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from Ithaca College, starting in 2016 and graduating in 2020. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications, including Excel Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365) from LinkedIn Learning, which they obtained in May 2021. Jake also completed the SEO Foundations and Digital Marketing Foundations courses, both from LinkedIn Learning, in March and February 2021, respectively. Furthermore, they obtained the Gaiq certification from Google in August 2021.
