Brandon Macdonald

Brandon Macdonald is the current CEO and Director at Fireweed Zinc. Brandon was previously the Business Development Consultant at Oreninc and Corporate Development Consultant at IDM Mining Ltd. Brandon also served as the Chairman at Commander Resources Ltd.

Brandon has over 10 years of experience in the mining industry, with a focus on precious and base metals exploration in Canada. Brandon has a proven track record in business development and corporate consulting, and has played a key role in advancing several successful exploration projects throughout their career.

Under their leadership, Fireweed Zinc has made significant progress on their zinc project in northwestern British Columbia, and the company is now well-positioned for continued success in the years ahead.

Brandon Macdonald graduated with a BSc in Geology from The University of British Columbia. Brandon then went on to earn their MBA from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. Brandon is also a certified Professional Geologist (P.Geo) from APEGBC.
