Andrea Uribe

Andrea Uribe has garnered extensive experience at Firmenich since November 2006, currently serving as IS Senior Manager for Plant & Automation in the Americas Region. In this role, Andrea leads an international team focusing on manufacturing and automation projects across 10 plants in North and South America, while managing relationships with senior executives and maintaining the IT Plant Automation master plan. Andrea is recognized as a global expert in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and oversees the IT Plant & Automation portfolio, ensuring compliance with global standards. Earlier roles include serving as a business systems lead and analyst, where Andrea played a key role in implementing critical systems that resulted in significant cost savings. Prior to Firmenich, Andrea worked as a research assistant at the CUNY Research Foundation, contributing to low-energy wireless sensor network projects. Andrea holds a Master of Science in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from New York University and dual bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Computer Science from The City University of New York.
