Peter O'Flaherty

Peter O'Flaherty is a seasoned professional in network utilities and data infrastructure, currently serving as Head of Network Utilities & Data Infrastructure at Equitix since February 2019. Peter's experience includes directorship roles at Gigaclear, firmus energy, Grain Connect Limited, and Freedom Fibre, focusing on enhancing connectivity and sustainable energy solutions across the UK. Peter has also held positions as a shareholder representative and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Bio Capital, and served on the Board of Directors for Electricity North West. Prior to these roles, Peter was a founding partner at NIBC Bank, where substantial capital was raised for infrastructure investments across Europe, and contributed to the success of Welcome Break, a leading motorway service provider in the UK. Peter holds a Master's degree in Property Development and Planning from London South Bank University and a BEng in Construction & Civil Engineering from Coventry University.
