Mark Gil Mercado

Mark Gil Mercado, CEH, CISM is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as Senior Information Security Lead at First Advantage since December 2019, Mark previously held positions as Information Security Manager at BCS Technology International Pty Ltd and Light Rail Manila Corporation, where contributions included the establishment of a comprehensive Information Security Program based on ISO 27001 and COBIT. Mark's earlier experience includes a decade at the Technological Institute of the Philippines, where responsibilities spanned information security leadership, risk assessment, IT asset management, and instruction in information technology courses. Mark holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from De La Salle University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from AMA University.
