Dan Bartz

Dan Bartz has a varied work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Dan started their career in 2005 as a Coatings Engineer and Facilities Manager at Mayaterials Inc. In 2007, they joined Teach For America as a Corps Member and later became an HS Math Teacher at Teach For Amercia - DOE New York, NY. In 2009, they joined The Brooklyn School for Global Studies as a 9th Grade Algebra Teacher and also became a Founding Mathematics Teacher at Uncommon Schools. Since 2015, Dan has been working at First Ascent Climbing & Fitness, where they serve as a Co-founder, Director of Marketing, and Adult Programming.
