Ann Bidner has over 24 years of experience in the field of human resources and compensation. Ann currently serves as the Director of Total Rewards and Workforce Analytics at FCT since September 2019, where they lead the benefits, compensation, recognition, and well-being portfolio. Prior to that, Ann worked at CIBC as the Senior Director of Enterprise Performance & Rewards from January 2016 to March 2017. Ann also held various roles at CIBC, including Senior Director of Compensation from June 2009 to December 2015 and Director of Compensation for World Markets and Risk from September 2008 to May 2009. Before joining CIBC, Ann worked as a Compensation Consultant at RBC from March 2007 to September 2008. Ann also gained valuable experience at CIBC as the Senior Manager of Compensation from June 2002 to February 2007. Ann started their career as a Senior Compensation Analyst at BMO Nesbitt Burns from March 1999 to June 2002. Their early experience includes working as an HR Analyst at Deloitte & Touche from May 1995 to March 1999, where they provided general HR and compensation analysis for the GTA Office and acted in an HR generalist capacity.
Ann Bidner received their BA in Social Development Studies with a focus on Personnel from the University of Waterloo, where they attended from 1989 to 1993.
