Jim Callaghan

Jim Callaghan currently serves as the Infrastructure Manager at First Central, overseeing a skilled team of IT engineers since July 2021. Prior to this role, Jim held the position of Lead Infrastructure Engineer at Optima Legal, where responsibilities included managing the transition to a hybrid self-hosted and cloud-hosted environment from local servers. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Capita as a Technical Lead, where Jim focused on virtualization, server and storage solutions, and project support. Jim's career began in the insurance sector, first as an Underwriter at Royal Insurance and later as a Senior Underwriter at Independent Insurance Company Ltd, where significant expertise was gained across various underwriting fields. Educationally, Jim attended Bishop Henshaw Rochdale from 1988 to 1991.
