Rachael Foo

Rachael Foo is a seasoned professional in strategy and corporate development currently serving as the Director of Strategy & Corporate Development at Audible since August 2021. In this role, Rachael oversees the company’s inorganic growth strategy through strategic transactions. Additionally, Rachael has been a Limited Partner at First Close Partners, focusing on backing venture funds led by underrepresented managers since February 2021. Rachael previously held the position of Director of Business Operations at Frame.io until July 2021, contributing to its acquisition by Adobe. Rachael's extensive experience includes roles as Interim Director of Sales Development at Gaingels, Board Observer at GlobalWebIndex and Gimlet Media, and Growth Stage Media/Internet Investor at Stripes, along with investment roles in several companies such as Refinery29 and Pond5. Rachael holds a B.A. in Government with a minor in Computer Science from Harvard University and a GED from the German Swiss International School.
