Kara Swing

Kara Swing, MAOM, currently serves as the VP of Talent Acquisition at First Community Mortgage since January 2022, leveraging extensive experience in recruitment and talent management. Prior to this role, Kara was a Senior Agency Recruiter at State Farm Insurance from July 2005 to December 2021, focusing on the recruitment of individuals passionate about community service and entrepreneurial opportunities within the agency. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Agency Intern Specialist, where Kara developed internship training programs for new agents, and as a Correspondent at Jostens, where responsibilities included collaborating with sales teams and overseeing product distribution for graduation announcements. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Organizational Management with a specialization in Leadership from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from Middle Tennessee State University.
