Tyler Merson

Tyler Merson is an accomplished professional with a diverse background encompassing home inspection, strategic home planning, and historic home consulting as the Owner of Merson Home Consulting since September 2020. In addition to this role, Tyler serves as a Project Manager at the HARTLEY DODGE FOUNDATION and works as a Construction Draw Inspector at First Construction Consulting, Inc., responsible for conducting inspections and generating progress reports. Tyler's experience includes serving as a member of the Board of Trustees at the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts since April 2016 and previously owning Codfish Park Design LLC, where custom furniture and cabinetry were designed and built from September 2002 to September 2020. Earlier culinary expertise was gained through a career as a chef in various restaurants from 1987 to 2002. Tyler holds an Associate of Science degree in Mathematics from County College of Morris and has postgraduate qualifications in Historic Preservation and Conservation from Drew University, along with additional education in design/build at Yestermorrow Design/Build School and culinary arts at Ecole de Gastronomie Ritz-Escoffier.
