Gunjan Mahindru has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Gunjan started their career as an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Olive Bar & Kitchen Pvt Ltd in 2005, where they focused on maintaining service and sanitation standards. Gunjan then moved on to The Westin Mumbai Garden City as a Restaurant Manager, responsible for various dining outlets. After that, they joined The Orchid Mumbai as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, where they effectively managed the department and developed strategies to achieve financial objectives. Gunjan later served as a Director of Food n Beverage at Regent Palace Hotel, where they developed and executed strategies for the food and beverage department. Gunjan then took on the role of Location Manager at Abu Dhabi National Hotels Compass ME LLC, focusing on monitoring revenue and conducting operations meetings. Gunjan Mahindru also served as a Director of Operations at Five Figs Hospitality Private Limited, where they anticipated opportunities, developed strategies, and maintained collaborative relationships. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Operations at First Fiddle Restaurants, where they manage profitability, operational budgets, and property operations, ensuring high-quality products and guest satisfaction.
Gunjan Mahindru completed their schooling in Mathematics and Computer Science at Guru Harikrishan Public School from 1991 to 2000. Gunjan then pursued a degree in Hotel Management from Monarch International from 2000 to 2002. Gunjan Mahindru also obtained several certifications, including "Leading like a Futurist" from LinkedIn in December 2019, "Certified Risk Manager (CRM)" from RIT in January 2017, and "servesafe" from DTCM in November 2014.
