Sheila Howard

Sheila Howard has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 1976, they worked as an Operations Specialist at First State Bank. From there, they moved on to Peoples Liberty Bank, where they served as a V.P. and Internal Auditor until 1991. After that, they joined Boone County Board of Education as a Financial Secretary, a role they held for over 10 years. In 2005, they transitioned to the Boone County Circuit Court/ Administrative Office of the Courts, working as a Deputy Clerk for a few months. In 2006, Sheila joined The Bank of Kentucky as an AVP, Internal Audit Department Manager, a role they held until 2014. Sheila then moved on to First Financial Bank, where they held various positions. Sheila started as an AVP and Senior Internal Auditor in 2015, later becoming Vice President, Compliance Review Manager. In 2017, they were promoted to Vice President, Internal Audit Manager. Most recently, Sheila served as a Director Internal Audit Quality Assurance at First Financial Bank.

Sheila Howard, CIA, CFIRS, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Northern Kentucky University between 2007 and 2010. In 2013 and 2014, they attended Sullivan University to prepare for the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation. In 1984 to 1986, they pursued Internal Audit studies at The School for Bank Administration, earning a degree in Audit.
