Paul Newton

Paul Newton has over 30 years of experience in finance and strategic planning. Paul currently serves as the Vice President of Finance and Strategic Planning at First Foundation Inc., where they manage strategic planning, forecasting, and mergers and acquisitions for a publicly traded financial service company. Prior to this, they held the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Canterbury Consulting, Spectrum Bank, and Aramark Healthcare, where they managed various financial operations and provided guidance for growth strategies. Paul also worked as a Finance Manager at CoreLogic and held multiple accounting positions at Unocal Corporation. Paul has consistently demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, compliance, and maintaining integrity with regulations. Paul holds a strong track record of driving profitability and growth in the organizations they have worked for.

Paul Newton earned their MBA in Finance from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Accounting from Texas A&M University, which they completed from 1979 to 1983. Additionally, Paul obtained Securities Licenses from FINRA in 2009.
